Our Mission

Provide a bilingual education founded on Biblical values with the purpose of teaching

our students to love, honor and serve God and others.

Our Theme Verse

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding." Proverbs 9:10

Our Statement of Faith

I.              The Bible

We believe the Bible is fully inspired and preserved by God, that it is infallible and that it is the supreme authority in matters of faith, life and doctrine. The Bible is the immovable foundation of academic and spiritual formation at La Molina Christian Schools. Proverbs 9:10 states: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.” (Psalm 19; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1: 9-21).

II.           The Nature of God

We believe that God is the Creator, the Righteous Judge and the Sovereign Ruler. He exists eternally as one God in three equal persons: the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3: 16 -17; 1: 1-4).

III.          The Creation

We believe God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), in His omnipotence and by His word alone, created the entire universe in six literal days, as described in Genesis 1 and 2.  Likewise, we believe that Jesus Christ sustains creation with His infinite power. God has entrusted the administration of His creation to human beings (Colossians 1:15-17; John 1:1-3; Genesis 1:28).

IV.         Human Beings

We believe that God lovingly created man and woman in His image, to glorify Him and enjoy a personal relationship with Him forever. In the beginning, God formed the first and perfect couple, united in heterosexual marriage, and declared His approval exclusively of this union. As human beings, we are responsible before God for stewardship over creation and have been charged by God to multiply the human race and fill the earth (Genesis 1:27-28 y 2:4-25; Psalms 127 y 139; Matthew 19:4-6; Ephesians 5:31; Romans 1; 1 Timothy 1:10; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10).

V.           The Fall

The Bible declares that humans, by their own will and under the influence of Satan, sinned by rebelling against God, wanting to be equal with God. Death came into this world as a consequence of this rebellion, and so death passed to all men, because all sinned. We believe that sin has corrupted all things, leaving the world in desperate need of salvation (Genesis 1:27; Isaiah 53:6; Romans 1:18-32; Romans 5:12-19; Romans 3:9-23; Ephesian 2:1-3).

VI.         The Enemy, Satan

We believe that Satan was an angel created by God, but that he rebelled against God, wanting to be equal to God. Satan is the author of sin and the cause of the Fall. He is the open and declared enemy of God and man and will be eternally punished in the Lake of Fire.  Satan (the Devil), like a "roaring lion", seeks to destroy all that is good in the world, beginning with the most vulnerable people: children. The Bible also describes the Devil as the "prince of the power of the air" and "the god of this world" who has usurped authority in the world, blinding the minds of those that refuse to believe in God (Job 1:6-7; Isaiah 14:12-17; Matthew 4:2-11 25:41; Revelation 20:1; 1 Pedro 5:8-9; Ephesians 2:2; 2 Corinthians 4:4).

VII.       Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace, though faith in the shed blood, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe that every human being that confesses Jesus Christ as Savior is born again, is justified and possesses an eternally-sure salvation. Salvation is not by works (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:3-6; John 10:26-27; Romans 3:28).

VIII.     Christianity

We believe that Christianity is comprised of followers of Christ, who believe in the one true God. Christians are called to love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love their neighbor as themselves. Christians separate themselves from the harmful philosophies and practices of the world in order to consecrate themselves to God and live a life that demonstrates love, service and solidarity with those in need (Ephesians 2:8-10; James 1:27; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18; 1 John 2:15-17; Romans 12:1-2; James 4:4).

IX.          The Local Church

We believe that the local church is the manifestation of the body of Christ in the world and that it consists of believers who are united in faith and committed to fulfilling the Great Commission of taking the Gospel of God's grace to their community and to all people groups of the world. We believe the local church is a community in which the believers enjoy communion in Jesus Christ and celebrate the ordinances of biblical baptism and the Lord's Supper. La Molina Christian Schools in not a church, but does serve a large community of Christian churches by offering an education that has the Bible as its foundation for spiritual and academic formation. (1 Corinthians 1:26; 1 Timothy 3:1-15; Titus 1:5-9 y Proverbs 9:10; Matthew 28:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-28).

X.            Government

We believe that God instituted civil government to provide for the good and order of human beings and that we should pray for and honor those in authority and obey them unless the laws directly contradict the Word of God (Romans 13:17; 1 Timothy 2:1-2; Titus 3:1; 1 Peter 2:17).

XI.          Life

We believe that God is the only giver of life and that in Jesus Christ we have abundant life. We strongly reject abortion, euthanasia, and other similar acts that go against God's plan and against the very character of our Creator, given that we were created in God's image (Genesis 1:27 y 9:6; Exodus 20:13).

Our Philosophy of Education

La Molina Christian Schools provides a Christ-centered education with the Bible as its philosophical foundation. The universe and everything that exists in it were created by God, who is the Sovereign Lord.  The supreme purpose of human beings is to glorify God and enjoy a personal relationship with Him forever.

We hold that the Bible is inspired and that it thoroughly equips us for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17); it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness. Therefore, the education we offer is based on the premise that all truth in the universe is God's truth and that human beings can access, study and cling to that truth (John 8:32).

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding"(Proverbs 9:10). For people to obtain true wisdom and understanding, it is essential to teach in the love of God and with respect for Him, as well as to sow a passion for knowing God through His Word and through the investigation of His creation. As an educational institution, we encourage the general study of a wide range of knowledge, positions, and theories, and, at the same time, we provide the tools of discernment that allow the student to "test all things and hold fast what is good" (1 Thessalonians 5:21-22).

We consider the spiritual, emotional, physical, intellectual, and social aspects of each individual to be inseparable, requiring an education that takes into account every aspect of human beings.  Therefore, we believe it is essential to teach the Bible as an integral part of the curriculum and not just as a religious course. The Bible is the central thread woven into the entire curriculum to guide the formation of the student.

Our academic approach is aimed at establishing a fascination for learning by following an ordered sequence, starting with teaching basic concepts that generate valuable information and working to consolidate knowledge in each area, thus allowing the development of critical thinking.

With the understanding that the formation and education of children is the responsibility of the parents, LMCS cooperates with the parents by providing the tools necessary for the students' all-around development throughout the educational process, establishing the Word of God as the foundation.

To ensure that the formation of our students transcends their years at the school, we believe it is necessary for the family to be part of a community of Christians (local church) that is fully committed to the Gospel of God's grace and studies the sound doctrine of His Word (Ephesians 6:4).

But Daniel purposed in his heart
that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat,
nor with the wine which he drank.
Daniel 1:8
